At Poderi Sorì we do things a little differently. Since 1988, we have been producing a unique Barolo wine vinified from Nebbiolo grapes from DOCG certified Crû vineyards. Let us surprise you with our limited selection of unique wines.

Barolo Parafada

Grown and produced with the greatest care from grapes grown in the Parafada vineyard, a sub-zone of Serralunga d'Alba. The vinification is traditional and the final rounding is done in 25 hl oak barrels.

Barolo Baudana

Produced from a vineyard replanted in 1997 in the Baudana sub-area of Serralunga d'Alba, using Nebbiolo clones with low productivity but high extract content. The vinification is traditional and the wines are matured in a mixture of 25 hl casks and smaller barrels.

About us

At Poderi Sori we're dedicated to first-class viticulture, and since the company was founded we've had one aim in mind: to offer only the very best quality.

After many years of enthusiastic exploration of the Barolo region, Guolf Gattiker and Francis Hodgskin acquired the first BAUDANA vineyard in 1986 and PARAFADA two years later. Both vineyards are BAROLO Cru terroirs, the basis for superior quality with a guarantee label (DOCG).

In 1988, the company PODERI SORI' (translated from Piedmontese: "estates of the best terroirs") was founded and the first wine was made in accordance with local tradition and culture. Since then, a unique result has been achieved by respecting ancient vine-growing traditions, carefully managing the transformation of grapes into wine and carefully controlling the ageing process in wooden casks.

These premises give rise to wines that are irrevocably linked to the terroir, but with an elegance of complex sensations on the palate, to meet the highest and most demanding European and global standards.
